About us

The numbered sections include over 30 acres of open space that OHNA is responsible to maintain. Since we deferred the goats until next year we will have our landscaper mow a 15′ wide path behind homes along our open spaces. Cal Fire cleared the section from Oak Hills Dr. to the east along 156. We will have them back in November for more clearing.

45% of our Oak Hills Community chooses NOT to participate in our Association which puts the burden on the rest to provide funds for improvements and maintenance of our 30+ acres of greenbelts. Our alternative is to raise our dues which we are reluctant to do. Our special tax assessments are under the control of the County and are difficult to access. We believe it is the responsibility of all homeowners to contribute for the benefit of everyone.

WHAT ARE WE?  The Oak Hills Neighborhood Association is a Mutual Benefit Corporation dedicated to preserving the original section of the Oak Hills subdivision by engaging residents in community activities, including maintaining and improving open/community spaces.

WHO ARE WE? We are a voluntary Registered Neighborhood Association with approximately 170 dues-paying members representing over 300+ residents and property owners who want our Park and greenbelts maintained.  We have a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of residents and property owners in Oak Hills.

WHERE IS OAK HILLS? Oak Hills is located strategically in beautiful North Monterey County, California, with easy access to Highways 156 (West), 101, 183 and scenic Highway 1. We are centrally located 20 minutes East of the Monterey Peninsula, 15 minutes North of Salinas, and an hour South from San Jose. The Oak Hills community is a safe and secure environment for family and retirement living.

WHAT AREA DOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION COVER? The Oak Hills Neighborhood Association covers the original section of Oak Hills east of Cathedral Oak Road. This community of 300+ homes is set against a backdrop of hills and California Coastal Live Oak trees, hence the name Oak Hills.
